In addition to meeting the legal requirements described in the corporate education page, as a manufacturer or importer, you should take other steps to ensure that your products not only meet or exceed the requirements of federal safety laws, but also make their design and production as safe as possible.Here is a brief list of some of our recommendations, and provide links for inquiries about detailed regulations: (Note: This document is not a list of mandatory requirements of the Consumer Product Safety Commission, but a list of best practices and recommendations compiled by the Office of the Small Business Inspector of the Consumer Product Safety Commission.)
